If it really happened like that, what do you think could bring about that green candle after Black Monday?
I don't see any immediate remedy. It seems to me more like September 2001, we've come down some from the top already, and the bubble bust somewhat already...and there is no immediate remedy. Not from the US FED anyways. Bernanke is stuck in the trap Greenspan set for his successors. You can only dilute the purchasing power of the dollar for a limited generations.
I think the market will drop, not that dramatically since unlike in 1987, we've come down some from the top already. And I think it'll stay low for a while. When all is said and done, I hope I will have half of the savings in Euro and British Pound.
